Protocol was formed in 1990 to provide discerning customers with a totally professional and comprehensive security service. We have always differentiated our service from that of our competitors by a genuine 'partnership approach based on highest quality - lowest cost.

Our senior team is comprised of former police officers, ex-military personnel as well as professionally qualified technicians. We are all committed to our operating style and to ‘practicing what we preach’.

2006 saw the long awaited Government legislation introduced via the SIA (Security Industry Authority) which in turn has created the ACS (Approved Contractor Status). This should rapidly establish a level playing field where you can easily determine which suppliers meet the required levels of competence expertise and professionalism.

Protocol was one of the first companies to re-trian all its officers, have them independantly examined by an approved body and obtain licences for all personnel, following thorough screening and criminal record vetting.

The SIA has awarded Protocol 'Approved Contractor Status' following rigorous assessment of all aspects of our business by an independant examining body.
